About

I am a photographer and educator.  My interests lie in the exploration of alternative processes and conversations.

As a resident artist, I provide in-depth workshops and classes with sponsorships and grants from California Arts Council, Ahmanson Foundation, Flourish Foundation, LA Department of Cultural Affairs, The Women's Caucus for the Arts, Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

My current obsession is to locate messages contained in layers of what’s been and what’s been left. Combined with exploring perspective and depth on a flat field, employing visual clues. I feel like an archeologist at times…peering into the past, alongside layers created before and after…by a person…perhaps by time.  The walls in the city speak to me...they are today's cave paintings.
